Our first Futures Design Accelerator cohort kicks off

A roadmap for changemakers

Led by our founder Maurits Montañez, this program guides participants through a hands-on journey to design changemaker businesses that shape brighter futures for people and the planet. Over the course of the program, the cohort will:

  • Learn the core concepts and practices of futures design, changemaking, and impact business.
  • Identify signals of change, and make sense of emerging behaviors and technological shifts in the creative sectors.
  • Co-create visions of the future worth fighting for and bring them to life through speculative prototyping.
  • Develop a clear product or service strategy to drive a changemaker vision forward.
  • Build regenerative business models, along with their marketing and financial strategies that sustain long-term movements.
  • Spark a movement toward a desirable future.

Transforming the world together

The fall 2025 cohort includes incredible entrepreneurs tackling some of today's most crucial issues:

  • Innovation in health: Participants like Emanuelle Cordeiro and Sara Martos are designing systems to enhance women's health and well-being.
  • Regenerative ecosystems: Eoife Huo and Monica Daley are exploring the intersection of nature, creativity, and cultural strategy.
  • Social fabric and integration: Maria Jose Hidalgo is using service design to support more inclusive forms of migration.
  • Collective resilience: Leaders like Sedef Sahin, Brandie Janow, and Sam Furness are building platforms for youth empowerment and community-led curiosity.
  • Ethical digital futures: Younes Skalli is refining service models for algorithmic transparency and media literacy.
  • Transformative education: Mane Tatulyan and Karen Quipusco are reforming education systems through philosophical and critical thinking.

We’re excited to kick off this journey and collaborate with this group of passionate creatives to challenge today's thinking and build futures that matter.
